Hillsborough County Commissioners vote on 2017 Transportation Project List
Many came out to voice their opinion at the County Commission meeting on Wednesday. While some felt the plan did not offer enough, including transit options, the County Commission did vote in favor of the plan.

County Attorney will no longer represent the Public Transportation Commission
Citing a potential conflict of interest the
Hillsborough County Attorney notified the PTC this week that it will no longer be able to provide legal representation if the State Legislature moves to disband the agency.

US Department of Transportation Establishes Automated Task Force
DOT Secretary Anthony Foxx announced that he will established an advisory committee to help the department establish the framework necessary for establishing federal regulations for automated transportation.
