Florida Department of Transportation changes course on Howard Franklin toll lane
FDOT Secretary sent a letter to State Senator Jack Latvala this week saying that the state will keep four “general use” lanes on the northbound bridge. An earlier plan called for one of those lanes to be turned into a toll only lane.

Tampa International Airport gets another International Flight
Beginning in September of 2017, Iceland Air will offer nonstop flights to Keflavík International Airport twice a week to and from Tampa International Airport. This is just the latest in the long list of international flights that TIA has been able to land over the past several years, including flights to Panama City, Frankfurt Germany, and soon direct commercial flights to Cuba.
