Congratulations to Jason Chavez, Regional Account Manager with Platinum Information Services in Tampa Bay, for being our Ambassador of the Quarter! After finishing college in Colorado, Jason moved to Tampa in 2001 looking for a longer boating season and an opportunity in sales. For an outgoing individual who genuinely enjoys helping people, a position in technology sales with Platinum has been a great fit. As competent IT expertise is a necessity for modern businesses to maintain secure and reliable systems, Jason finds it rewarding to see the value of the investment payoff for Platinum customers when it all comes together. Platinum Information Services focuses on Server & Desktop Support and Data Backup/Disaster Recovery for 400+ corporate customers within 10 states.

When not working, Jason can usually be found on or near the water. Sailing & racing one-design keelboats, he enjoys the camaraderie and competition of traveling to the boat events throughout the U.S. and abroad. Jason values the relationship he has with The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce as it gives him the opportunity to establish industry partners, generate business, and even bring new people into the sailing community.
