Governor Signs Bill Giving Moffitt Project the Green Light

Thank you for all of your efforts

Yesterday, Governor Rick Scott signed a bill allowing for the construction of a new cancer medical and research facility at Moffitt.  The Chamber launched Jobs for the Cure in support of this project.

This bill will create thousands of jobs in the construction sector and result in thousands of new jobs in Florida’s biotech work force. Thank you for reaching out to your legislators and to Governor Scott to help make this happen.  The Chamber will continue to advocate for our local business community and with your help, our economy will thrive.
